Glad Press N Seal for ten year food storage?

Asked: Glad Press N Seal for ten year food storage?

I'm finally getting around to making myself an emergency food supply, and have got a ton of boxed spaghetti pasta which supposedly lasts a while. I was thinking, to extend it's life to ten years perhaps, would sealing the pasta in 'Glad Press and Seal' wrap along with an oxygen absorber packet for each pound be a wise way to store it?

Mean to the drunks (cats can't stitch for ****). Also, cats are obligate carnivores, so be prepared for kitty's medical bills and/or euthanasia.
